Islet Yield

Great news! Islet yield was over 500,000 which is fantastic. For those who understand these numbers, the yield was 4600 per kilogram. Josh should be able to be either insulin independent or nearly so, which was our goal.

He's still in the OR, but should be going to recovery soon. He is not going to ICU.

Gregg and Em are in Minneapolis and should be here soon. Can't wait to see them.

I'll update more later. It's been a long day.....

    So glad to hear that his numbers were great! What a day all of you have had. So glad that Gregg and Emily are with you now. You have been so strong...they can fuss over you a bit!
